01 · BUSINESS

An experienced outside perspective.

For companies navigating growth, expansion, or change, Susan offers perspective informed by decades of advising businesses on complex, high-stakes decisions. Her work across business functions and with senior leadership, combined with her background as an attorney, helps organizations evaluate opportunities, weigh competing priorities, and understand the business and legal frameworks surrounding strategic decisions.

Susan is a nationally recognized leader in location economics, global site selection, and tax incentives consulting. She has helped companies decide where to locate, invest, and grow, from corporate headquarters relocations to greenfield manufacturing facilities.

She began in public service as an economic development strategist for the Governor of New York State, then led private-sector practices at firms including JLL and CBRE. Across her career, she has structured and negotiated more than $1 billion in economic development incentives.

Earlier in her career, Susan served as counsel for Reebok’s Far East operations in Hong Kong and later as a foreign associate at a Tokyo law firm, working on U.S.-Japan joint ventures, technology transfers, and U.S. market access.

02 · BOARD GOVERNANCE

Practical insight in the boardroom.

Susan’s experience in the board room could be particularly valuable to Cambodian companies seeking to strengthen corporate governance practices, adopt internationally recognized business standards, in order to build stronger relationships with investors, partners, and customers.

For the past five years, Susan has served as an independent director of SusGlobal Energy Corp., a publicly traded company in the United States. She has assisted the company with asset acquisitions and dispositions, governance issues, and compliance filings.

As a former board member of the Sullivan County, NY Land Bank, she used her extensive real estate experience to advise on the redevelopment of blighted commercial and residential assets into productive uses which promoted housing ownership and community development.

Susan’s multidisciplinary experience of assisting businesses with complex strategic, operational, investment, and risk-related decisions in the United States and internationally, brings a tactical perspective to the boardroom.
